How much will counseling cost me?
My fee is $120 for the first session, which typically lasts 1.25 hours.
Subsequently, each 50 minute session is billed at $100.
Fees are collected at the time of service in the form of cash or check.
To protect your rights and privacy as a client, I am not directly associated with any insurance company.
However, if you wish to utilize your out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Call me to discuss any financial concerns.
A sliding scale may be available on a limited basis.
What hours are available for sessions?
I offer daytime, some evening and Saturday appointments.
Since this time is set aside specifically for you, and no one else, a notice of 24 hours is required for all cancellations.
Unless there is an unforeseen emergency, you will be billed for missed appointments.
What services do you provide?
I treat individuals and couples, 18 years of age and older.
My areas of competence include adjustment issues, anxiety and panic disorders, divorce recovery, forgiveness therapy, grief and loss counseling, life transitions, mood disorders, relationship problems, self esteem issues, spiritual concerns, and the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders.
What do I do in case of emergencies?
I do not offer crisis services.
Please contact Netcare at 614-276-CARE (2273), dial 911, or have someone take you to the nearest emergency room for help.
Is everything I say confidential?
As a client, you are guaranteed the protection of confidentiality within the boundaries of the client/counselor relationship.
Any disclosure will be made with your full written, informed consent and will be limited to a specific period of time.
The only limitations to confidentiality occur when a counselor feels that there is clear and imminent danger to you or to others, or when legal requirements demand that confidential information be disclosed, such as a court case.
Whenever possible, you will be informed before confidential information is revealed.
